The Butterfly and the Stolen Egg

Hey, just want to share a few pics from a couple of performances with the fantastic Wooden Spoons Theatre Company last year.

Mother Nature's Day

'Mother Nature's Day' was held at Bolton Nature Reserve on the weekend of Mother's Day. I became a butterfly and told young audiences how I had transformed from a little caterpillar.

The audience's walked through the reserve and along the way met various woodland creature who told them about their mother's/babies and educated them on ways they could provide safe, welcoming environments for animals to flourish in with their young.

Getting into costume
I really enjoyed this project and thankfully the weather was kind. Great to be part of a performance inspiring children to care for wildlife. You can read more about 'Mother Nature Day' and see many more pictures here.

Who Stole Easter?

Who stole Easter was an outdoor interactive comedy with a touch of the ridiculous, inviting the audience to uncover the mystery of who stole the valuable 'Golden Egg'. This was performed as part of the traditional egg-rolling event in Preston at Avenham Park (you can read about how I was involved with this last year here).

I played the questionably Spanish Madame Omelette, Fiery femme fatale with a dodgy accent and a secret. Great fun to play, fantastic fun cast and really enjoyed it.
