An unexpected little adventure

Had a bit of a mad experience last week. Was asked last minute to fill in for an actress who was losing her voice in a TIE performance. Was asked on the Thursday morning. Frantic dungeon shift swapping, packing and printing off the script, then a train and taxi journey to see the play performed in a school that afternoon. From there to a cottage in the middle of nowhere to rehearse till late. Then up early to perform it at two schools on the Friday! I don't think I've had to learn anything that quickly before (I'm sure others may have, but was new experience for me!), bit of a whirlwind but a lot of fun, I really enjoyed it! :D

Something completely different...

Following on from the Steampunk-esque picture in my last post, here is a video trailer...

In other news...

As well as seeing Carmen and the Joe's Allison Trio this month (see last blog post), at the end of last month I went to see a friend of mine perform in an adaptation of Agatha Christie's 'A Murder is Announced' which was great fun, kept me guessing until the end!
